some antique love for styling a brand!

It’s a late Friday and we’re all about to head out of the studio in a bit, but wanted to get a post up before the weekend. It’s always exciting working on a full branding campaign, but what’s really exciting is watching it come to life.

We’re styling for an upcoming display and shoot that we had the creative reign to come up with ideas of how to SHOW the brand. I can’t post to much because we are still finalizing a few things, but think it’s always great to see process!

So the concept is FRESH LEARNING and here’s a few little nuggets from some of our finds from antique malls, pattern selections and crafty hobby lobby fun, images from our sample setups, and a little peek into some of the materials that are going to print RIGHT NOW!

BOOM to an awesome, creative Friday. Simply love when we get to work on the styling of a brand we’ve created! it’s all coming together and i can’t wait to see pictures from the event. i’ll be sure to post them when my client sends them. now the challenge is shipping all this in a huge box across the country.

more to come….

happy friday!

you love photography (so do we). you are someone who is willing to attend events and parties for little 500. please know how to edit your photos and make them pretty in photoshop (or a similar software). please also know how to use flickr. you should have your own computer (laptops are preferable but not required), equipment and software.

you will primarily work from home or from campus, although we will occasionally ask you to come in so we can show you how to curate your photos. plus, the downtown studio rocks! you can schedule times to come to edit here. in addition to being routinely featured on IUSF and The Hub site, your photos will be published to our websites and social-media accounts and may be used for promotional materials. interns should be socially-savvy and personable while shooting.

you will get photo credit wherever your images are published, an expanded portfolio, office experience, great references and the fabulous feeling of being involved in the arts and music scene in btown. if you want, we can make you a fancy name tag so people know you are an ‘official’ blueline photographer. you can even wear it when you’re not working. you should also have some kind of portfolio, online or otherwise, to present if you are interviewed.

if this sounds good, please forward your resume, and, if possible, a link to some work samples to art@bluelinestyle.com by march 12. add some of your ideas for little 500 2012 coverage or anything else that will give us a taste of your style.
